This document describes how to set up and use Prompt Builder in Salesforce on Alibaba Cloud, powered by Alibaba Cloud's AI capabilities.
Important Notice: When using Prompt Builder, you are responsible for ensuring that any personal or sensitive information is handled according to your organization's data privacy policies.
Prerequisites
Applicable Salesforce Edition License
Your Salesforce on Alibaba Cloud org requires at least one active CN Enterprise or CN Unlimited Edition Sales or Service Cloud license.
Connected Experiences Gateway (CXG) credits
Alibaba Cloud Model Studio account
Configuration Steps
1. Activate Model Studio Service
Go to Alibaba Cloud Model Studio platform official website and open the console.
Click "Activate Now", agree to the service agreement, and complete the activation process.
2. Create a Workspace and get its ID
Go to Manage Workspaces page.
Click "Workspace" from the left navigation bar.
Get Workspace ID
Use the default workspace or click "Add Workspace" to create one.
In the workspace management list, copy the corresponding Workspace ID.
3. Get the API Key
Go to API Key Management page.
Select "API Key" from the left navigation bar.
Create API Key
Click "Create API Key".
Bind API Key to the Workspace.
The system will automatically generate an API Key.
4. Configure Connected Experiences Gateway (CXG)
Create Alibaba Cloud Model Studio Connector
Go to the CXG Setup > Connectors.
Click "Connect - LLM Service" and select "Connect to Alibaba Cloud Model Studio".
Enter the Name, Model Studio platform Workspace ID and API Key.
5. Core CRM Configuration
Enable AI Features
Go to Setup > Einstein > Einstein Setup, and enable Einstein feature.
Enable "Global Language Support for Prompt Builder" to support Chinese and other languages.
Enable "Deploy Prompt Templates".
Assign Prompt Builder Permissions to Users
Go to Setup > Users.
To allow users to create and manage prompt templates, assign them "Prompt Template Manager" permission set.
To allow users to access and run prompt templates, assign them "Prompt Template User" permission set.
Creating and Using Prompt Templates
Creating a Prompt Template
Go to Setup > Prompt Builder > New Prompt Template.
Select "Prompt Template Type". Currently, "Field Generation", "Record Summary" and "Flex" template types are supported.
Configure the template properties, such as "Prompt Template Name", "Object" and "Object Field".
In the template content editor, select a model and write the AI prompt.
Preview the template, save, and activate it.
Using a Prompt Template
Add activated prompt templates to Flow to trigger them automatically.
In the Lightning App Builder, select the fields for automatic generation and assign the prompt templates.
