Overview
This document describes how to install or upgrade the managed packages for Connected Experiences Gateway (CXG) and CXG AI features in a tenant Org of Salesforce on Alibaba Cloud CRM.

Prerequisites
You have purchased the Salesforce on Alibaba Cloud - CXG service.
Procedure
Check the Lightning Web Security configuration
Before you install the managed package for the CXG product, navigate to Settings > Security > Session Settings. Under Lightning Web Security, ensure that Use Lightning Web Security for Lightning web components and Aura components is enabled.
Check the installed managed package for the CXG product
Log on to the CRM tenant Org as an administrator. Navigate to Settings > Platform Tools > Apps > Packaging > Installed Packages. Find the package named Connected Experiences Gateway and check its version name.
Check for the latest available managed package for the CXG product
The following table lists the two most recent versions of the managed package for the CXG product and their version names. Click the corresponding installation link to install or upgrade.

Check for the latest available managed package for the CXG AI feature
The following table lists the latest versions of the managed package for the CXG AI feature and their version names. Click the corresponding installation link to install or upgrade.

Note
Typically, you only need to manually check if the CXG managed package is installed and update it to the latest version the first time you use the CXG product. The installed CXG product package is automatically updated to the latest version during subsequent product upgrades. After a managed package is installed, you can only upgrade it. Downgrading is not supported unless you first uninstall the package.
Install or upgrade the managed package for the CXG product
Log on to the CRM tenant Org as an administrator. Click the installation link for the CXG managed package in the table above. You may be prompted to log on again. The installation or upgrade page for the CXG package is displayed.
Select Install for Admins Only.
Click the Install or Upgrade button. The Approve Third-Party Access window appears.
Select the checkbox to grant the CXG package access to the corresponding domain names and service Endpoints. Then, click Continue. The installation or upgrade process begins. This process may take some time. You can click Done to close the page. After the installation or upgrade is complete, a success notification email is sent to the email address associated with your administrator account.
After the installation is complete, follow the steps in the "Check the installed managed package for the CXG product" section to verify that the correct version is installed. If the version is incorrect, contact us.
