Introduction
Salesforce on Alibaba Cloud aims to match the global version, but technical, contractual, regulatory, and legal constraints cause differences. These factors evolve over time, so this document reflects the current state and will be updated.
Salesforce on Alibaba Cloud offers four editions: CN Unlimited Edition (formerly “CN Edition”), CN Enterprise Edition, CN Professional Edition for production use, and CN Developer Edition for application development. All editions are tailored for local compliance and China market needs. CN Edition has limits and platform allocations (storage, API, etc.) that correspond to global versions. Some features requiring additional network design are turned off by default. Salesforce on Alibaba Cloud is internet-accessible and has the same API support as Salesforce, with exceptions noted in this document.
Data is not replicated from Salesforce on Alibaba Cloud datacenters to global Salesforce datacenters. Alibaba Cloud administers and supports services in China; Salesforce does not access that data or those tenants. Some features are on the product roadmap for future releases. Salesforce on Alibaba Cloud follows the same 3x/year major release schedule.

Einstein for Automotive Cloud products are not available.
Advanced search depends on the Data Processing Engine, so advanced inventory search and asset search are not available.
Channel Revenue Management and Digital Lending are not available.
The Connected Vehicle product is not currently available.
Salesforce Scheduler
The Data Integration Rules for Salesforce Scheduler calls out the following dependencies on the Geocoding service.
The geolocation data feature, known as geocoding, is enabled for these objects:
Service appointments. Uses the Geocodes for Service Appointment Address data integration rule.
Service territories. Uses the Geocodes for Service Territory Address data integration rule.
Resource absences. Uses the Geocodes for Resource Absence Address data integration rule.
Service territory members. Uses the Geocodes for Service Territory Member Address data integration rule.
These geocoding and location services depend on external mapping integrations not available in China. Developers should write flows that skip the Service Territory selection screen, as described in the help documentation.

In instances managed by Salesforce.com, certain domains must be allow-listed for full functionality. Allowlisting required domains.
