Introduction
Although the guiding principle is to keep Salesforce on Alibaba Cloud identical in features to rest of the world, technical, contractual, regulatory, and legal reasons cause differences. Since technical and regulatory considerations change over time, this document is a description of the current point in time and will evolve in the future.
Salesforce on Alibaba Cloud offers four editions: CN Unlimited Edition (formerly “CN Edition”), CN Enterprise Edition and CN Professional Edition for production use and CN Developer Edition for application development purposes. All editions are Salesforce applications tailored to meet both the local compliance and unique market needs in China. For example, CN Edition has limits and platform allocations (such as storage and API etc) that correspond to Salesforce global versions. Some features that require additional network design and connections are turned off by default. Salesforce on Alibaba Cloud is accessible to the internet, and has the same API support as Salesforce aside from some exceptions noted in this document.
Data is not replicated from the Salesforce on Alibaba Cloud datacenters to the global Salesforce datacenters. Alibaba Cloud administers and supports the services in China, and Salesforce does not have access to that data or those tenants. Some features are subject to our product roadmap and will be made available in future releases. Salesforce on Alibaba Cloud follows the same 3 times/year major release schedule.

Data Cloud, Data processing engine, and CRM Analytics are not available on Alibaba Cloud.
Automotive Cloud
Automotive Cloud supports Vehicle Console, Driver Console, Lead Management, Actionable Resource Center, Households, Stakeholder Management, Partner Performance Management, Dealer Visits, Inventory Management, Warranty Lifecycle Management, Fleet Management, and more.
Features which depend on CRM Analytics, Data Processing Engine, Data Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, or Field Service are not supported. Field Service features such as labor estimation or timesheet management are not supported.
There are no “Einstein for Automotive Cloud” products available for Salesforce on Alibaba Cloud, so those features are not supported.
Advanced search depends on the Data Processing Engine, so advanced inventory search and asset search features are not available.
Channel Revenue Management and Digital Lending are not supported or available.
The Connected Vehicle product is not currently available.
Salesforce Scheduler
The Data Integration Rules for Salesforce Scheduler calls out the following dependencies on the Geocoding service.
The geolocation data feature, known as geocoding, is enabled for these objects:
Service appointments. Uses the Geocodes for Service Appointment Address data integration rule.
Service territories. Uses the Geocodes for Service Territory Address data integration rule.
Resource absences. Uses the Geocodes for Resource Absence Address data integration rule.
Service territory members. Uses the Geocodes for Service Territory Member Address data integration rule.
These geocoding and location services depend on integrations to external mapping solutions that are not available in China. Due to these regional differences, developers should write flows that skip the Service Territory selection screen, as is described inthe help documentation.
Domains for Salesforce on Alibaba Cloud
In instances managed by Salesforce.com, some domains should be allow-listed in order for the app to function fully. This is described in the following help and training article at help.salesforce.com.

As of Winter '26, Customer 360 Data Manager is not available on Salesforce on Alibaba Cloud; however, unused domains are provided in this doc for future use.
The setup domain (“my-domain”.setup.sfcrmproducts.cn) was being enabled in the Winter 25 release. This should overcome issues with third-party cookies being blocked in some browsers.
