To accelerate the digital transformation of enterprises and facilitate economic recovery, Alibaba Cloud Server Load Balancer (SLB) adopts a new method to calculate Load Balancer Capacity Unit (LCU) fees for all sub-services, including Classic Load Balancer (CLB), Application Load Balancer (ALB), and Network Load Balancer (NLB) from April 1, 2023.

  • Previous method: The hourly LCU consumption is rounded up to the nearest integer. If the number of LCUs is less than one, you are charged for one LCU.
  • New method: The hourly LCU consumption is calculated based on the actual usage. The LCU consumption is accurate to 0.000001 LCU.
Note The change does not affect your services. LCU fees are reduced after the change. Check your bills for the actual fees.

Example

The following example describes the LCU fees for an NLB instance. The example is for reference only. For more information, see the actual bills.
