Server Load Balancer:Announcement (20201127): Retirement of internal-facing CLB instances deployed in a classic network

To reinforce network security and improve user experience on the cloud, starting November 27, 2020, internal-facing Classic Load Balancer (CLB) instances that are deployed in a classic network are retired. Therefore, you cannot purchase new CLB instances that are deployed in a classic network.

Impacts

• Starting November 27, 2020, you cannot purchase internal-facing CLB instances that are deployed in a classic network.
• In addition, you cannot specify Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instances that are deployed in a classic network as the backend servers of a CLB instance that is purchased after the retirement date.
• CLB instances that are purchased before the retirement date are not affected.
