Create resource groups to organize and manage cloud resources by business department, project, or other criteria.
Prerequisites
Create a resource group with an Alibaba Cloud account or a RAM identity (RAM user or RAM role) that has permissions to manage resource groups.
By default, a RAM identity that creates a resource group is automatically granted AdministratorAccess permissions for that group and becomes a resource group administrator. Disable the Use Creator as Administrator feature if not needed.
Procedure

Log in to the Resource Management console.

On the Resource Group page, click Create Resource Group.

Enter a Resource Group Identifier and a Display Name, and then click Confirm.
The resource group status changes to Creating.... After about three seconds, click the refresh icon
. The resource group is created when the status changes to Available.
