If an instance is suspended, you must start it to resume its services. This topic describes how to start an instance in the console.
Prerequisites
The instance is in the Suspended state.
Procedure
Log on to the RDS console. In the navigation pane on the left, click RDS Custom > Instances. Then, select a region at the top of the page.
Start the instance.
Start a single instance: In the Actions column for the target instance, click .
Alternatively, on the Basic Information page of the instance, click Starting.
Start one or more instances: Select the instance or instances that you want to start, and then click Start at the bottom of the page.
In the dialog box that appears, click OK. Wait for the Status of the instance to change to Running.
