Database monitoring
PolarDB-X 1.0 tracks query throughput, connection count, and thread usage at the database level, so you can assess the health and performance of individual databases in your instance. This page describes how to view these metrics on the Database Monitoring page in the console.
Monitoring metrics
The Database Monitoring page tracks three metrics per database.

Number of threads used by the database to execute SQL statements |

View database monitoring data
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure that you have:

A PolarDB-X 1.0 instance with at least one database
Steps

Log on to the PolarDB for Xscale console.

In the top navigation bar, select the region where your instance is located.

On the Instances page, find the target instance and click its instance ID.

In the left-side navigation pane, choose Monitoring and Alerting > Database Monitoring.

On the Database Monitoring page, configure the following parameters. The chart updates automatically.
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| Database | The database to monitor. Select a database from the drop-down list. |
| Data Indexes | The monitoring metric to display. For available metrics, see Monitoring metrics. |
| Query Time | The time range for the chart. Choose 1 hour, 6 hours, 12 hours, 1 day, or 1 week, or set a custom range. The minimum range is 1 minute and the maximum is one week. |
