Platform For AI:Create an experiment project

An experiment project is an aggregation of business logic and can correspond to a specific business scenario. You can create different experiment projects based on different business logic. For example, homepage recommendation and shopping cart recommendation are different scenarios that require different projects. This topic describes how to create and manage an experiment project.

Create an experiment project

  1. Go to the ABTest page.

    1. Log on to the PAI console.

    2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Workspaces. On the Workspaces page, click the name of the workspace that you want to manage.

    3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Model Deployment > PAI-ABTest.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane of the ABTest page, choose Project Management > Experiment Projects.

  3. On the Experiment Projects page, click Create Project.

  4. On the Create Project page, configure the parameters. The following table describes the parameters.

    Parameter

    Description

    Name

    The name of the experiment project.

    Description

    The description of the experiment project.

  5. After you configure the parameters, click OK.

    You can view the created experiment project in the experiment project list.

Manage an experiment project

After you create an experiment project, you can modify or delete the experiment project in the experiment project list.image

  • Important

    When you delete an experiment project, all experiment domains, experiment layers, and experiments in the experiment project are also deleted. A deleted experiment project cannot be recovered. Proceed with caution.

References

After you create an experiment project, the system automatically creates the default experiment layer and experiment domain. You can also manually create an experiment layer and an experiment domain. For more information, see Create an experiment layer and Create an experiment domain.
