    The Object Storage Service (OSS) console provides an intuitive interface where you can perform most OSS tasks. This topic describes how to use an Alibaba Cloud account to log on to the OSS console.

    Prerequisites

    Object Storage Service (OSS) is activated.

    Note

    Activating OSS is free of charge. Purchasing an OSS resource plan does not automatically activate OSS. The service must still be activated manually.

    Procedure

    1. Go to the OSS activation page and follow the on-screen instructions to activate OSS.

    2. Log on to the Alibaba Cloud official website.

    3. Click Console in the upper-right menu bar on the Alibaba Cloud official website. On the Alibaba Cloud Console, move the pointer over the More icon in the upper-left corner. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Products and Services > Storage > Object Storage Service.
