In OSS, an object (file) is the basic unit of data. The OSS C SDK provides several methods to upload files:
Simple upload (C SDK): Includes streaming uploads and file uploads. Files cannot exceed 5 GB.
Append upload (C SDK): Files cannot exceed 5 GB.
Resumable upload: Supports concurrent uploads, resuming interrupted uploads, and custom part sizes. This method is recommended for large files. Files cannot exceed 48.8 TB.
Multipart upload: This method is recommended for large files. Files cannot exceed 48.8 TB.
During an upload, you can set file metadata and use the progress bar feature to view the upload progress. After the upload is complete, you can also receive an upload callback (C SDK).
