When you manage multiple applications in Managed Service for OpenTelemetry, tags and resource groups help you categorize and control access. Add tags to filter and organize applications by environment, team, or project. Assign resource groups to consolidate billing and manage permissions across related resources.
Add tags
Log on to the Managed Service for OpenTelemetry console.
On the Applications page, select a region in the top navigation bar, and then click the name of the target application.
In the top navigation bar, choose .
In the Apply Label Management section, click Edit Tags.
In the Edit Tags dialog box, configure tag keys and tag values.
Click OK.
Change the resource group
Log on to the Managed Service for OpenTelemetry console.
On the Applications page, select a region in the top navigation bar, and then click the name of the target application.
In the top navigation bar, choose .
In the Resource Group section, click Modify a resource group. You are redirected to the Resource Management console, where you can reassign the application to a different resource group.
