Last Updated:Sep 01, 2023

This topic describes how the remaining quota of a resource plan is displayed.

Object Storage Service (OSS) resource plans can be classified into the following types based on different offset rules: fixed total capacity, monthly subscription, and decreasing total capacity.

The following table describes the display modes of the remaining quota of different types of resource plans.

Offset method

Display mode

Description

Fixed total capacity

-

A fixed quota is available every hour, and the remaining quota cannot be transferred to the next hour.

Monthly subscription

The remaining quota for the month

Important

If you do not consume any quota, the remaining quota is the same as the specified quota allocated to the month.

A fixed quota is available every month. The full quota is restored on the first day of the next month. The unused quota cannot be transferred to the next month.

Decreasing total capacity

The remaining quota during the validity period

Important

If you do not consume any quota, the remaining quota is the same as the total capacity.

During the validity period of a resource plan, the quota of the resource plan linearly decreases based on the actual resource consumption until the quota is exhausted or the resource plan expires.
