This topic describes how to set the access control list (ACL) of an object in a directory of a public-read bucket to private.

Object Storage Service (OSS) does not allow you to set the ACL of multiple objects in a directory of a public-read bucket to private at the same time. You can configure the ACL of only one object at a time. For more information about how to configure the ACL of objects, see Object ACL.
