To set or reset the logon password for your ApsaraDB for MongoDB instance, see Reset a password. Use this procedure whether you skipped setting a password during instance creation, want to rotate it, or forgot it.
Note Do not log on to a database as the root user in a production environment. Create dedicated users and grant only the permissions they need. For details, see Manage user permissions on MongoDB databases using Data Management (DMS).
