Simple Message Queue (SMQ, formerly MNS) is available in multiple regions. Each region is an independent geographical area with its own data centers. After you create a resource, you cannot move it to a different region.
Use the following tables to check feature availability, find region IDs for SDK or CLI configuration, and get endpoint URLs for your deployment.
Supported regions and features
All regions support queue-based messaging. Topic-based messaging, event notifications, and log management vary by region.
Note
To request access to an unsupported feature or event notification type in a specific region, submit a ticket.
Table conventions:
Queue-based messaging is supported in all regions and omitted from the table.
Topic subscription types: Subscription types available under the topic-based messaging model. SMS = Alibaba Cloud Short Message Service. Direct Mail = Alibaba Cloud Direct Mail. Mobile Push = Alibaba Cloud Mobile Push. "Not supported" means the topic-based messaging model is unavailable in that region.
Event notification: Alibaba Cloud services that can push event notifications through SMQ. OSS = Object Storage Service. Visual Intelligence API is available only in China (Shanghai).

SMQ endpoints follow a predictable pattern based on your Alibaba Cloud account ID and the region ID.

To use HTTPS, replace http:// with https:// in the endpoint URL. HTTPS is supported for all public endpoints.
