To ensure the stability of ApsaraDB for Memcache instances on the Alibaba Cloud platform, the backend system irregularly maintains instances and servers within the specified maintenance window.
Background information
Before the maintenance window starts, ApsaraDB for Memcache text messages and emails to the contacts that are associated with your Alibaba Cloud account.
To guarantee the stability of the maintenance process, instances enter the Maintaining Instance state before the maintenance window starts on the day of maintenance. When an instance is in this state, you can still access and query data in the database. For example, you can query performance monitoring data. However, change operations are temporarily unavailable for the instance. For example, you cannot change the configurations of the instance.
During the preset maintenance window, instances may be disconnected in the process of maintenance. We recommend that you set the maintenance window to a period during off-peak hours.
Procedure
Log on to the ApsaraDB for Memcache console.
On the Instances page, click the ID of the instance that you want to manage.
In the Configuration Information section, click Modify next to Maintenance Window.
Select a time range that is suitable for your business.
NoteThe time displayed in the console is in the same time zone as your computer.
