Simple Log Service:Update the alerting module

This topic describes how to update the alerting module. You can update the alerting module for only one alert instance at a time.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Log Service console.

  2. In the Projects section, click the project that you want to use.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Alerts.

  4. On the Alert Rules/Incidents tab, click the alert instance for which you want to update the alerting module.

  5. On the Alert Overview page, click Modify Settings.

  6. In the Alert Configuration step, click Next.

  7. In the Notifications step, click Upgrade.

  8. If this is your first time to use the alerting module, select a region where you want to store alert data and click OK.

    After you select a region, Simple Log Service creates a project named sls-alert-Alibaba Cloud account ID-Region and a Logstore named internal-alert-center-log in the region. The Logstore is used to store alert data.

  9. In the Confirm Upgrade dialog box, click OK.
