This topic describes the Log Service endpoints for different network types.

Overview

Log Service provides endpoints for different network types, such as the Internet or an Alibaba Cloud internal network.

You can go to the Project Overview page of a project in the Log Service console to view the endpoints of the region where the project resides. Log Service endpoint

Public Log Service endpoints

An endpoint is a URL that allows access to each project in the region of Log Service and the logs in the projects. The endpoint is associated with the region where each project resides and can be associated with a project name. Log Service is available in multiple regions. The following table describes the public Log Service endpoints for each supported region.

Note The public Log Service endpoints for the China (Hohhot) and China (Hong Kong) regions are accessible over IPv6.
Region Log Service endpoint
China (Hangzhou) cn-hangzhou.log.aliyuncs.com
China (Shanghai) cn-shanghai.log.aliyuncs.com
China (Qingdao) cn-qingdao.log.aliyuncs.com
China (Beijing) cn-beijing.log.aliyuncs.com
China (Zhangjiakou) cn-zhangjiakou.log.aliyuncs.com
China (Hohhot) cn-huhehaote.log.aliyuncs.com
China (Ulanqab) cn-wulanchabu.log.aliyuncs.com
China (Shenzhen) cn-shenzhen.log.aliyuncs.com
China (Heyuan) cn-heyuan.log.aliyuncs.com
China (Guangzhou) cn-guangzhou.log.aliyuncs.com
China (Chengdu) cn-chengdu.log.aliyuncs.com
China (Hong Kong) cn-hongkong.log.aliyuncs.com
Japan (Tokyo) ap-northeast-1.log.aliyuncs.com
South Korea (Seoul) ap-northeast-2.log.aliyuncs.com
Singapore (Singapore) ap-southeast-1.log.aliyuncs.com
Australia (Sydney) ap-southeast-2.log.aliyuncs.com
Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) ap-southeast-3.log.aliyuncs.com
Indonesia (Jakarta) ap-southeast-5.log.aliyuncs.com
Philippines (Manila) ap-southeast-6.log.aliyuncs.com
Thailand (Bangkok) ap-southeast-7.log.aliyuncs.com
UAE (Dubai) me-east-1.log.aliyuncs.com
US (Silicon Valley) us-west-1.log.aliyuncs.com
Germany (Frankfurt) eu-central-1.log.aliyuncs.com
US (Virginia) us-east-1.log.aliyuncs.com
India (Mumbai) ap-south-1.log.aliyuncs.com
UK (London) eu-west-1.log.aliyuncs.com
Russia (Moscow) rus-west-1.log.aliyuncs.com
If you want to access a project, you must combine the project name and the Log Service endpoint for the region where the project resides to specify the project endpoint. Format:
<project_name>.<region_endpoint>
In the following project endpoint, the project name is big-game and the region is China (Hangzhou).
big-game.cn-hangzhou.log.aliyuncs.com
Note
  • When you create a Log Service project, you must specify a region.
  • After the project is created, you cannot change the region or migrate the project across different regions.
  • After the project is created, you must use the Log Service endpoint that matches the region of the project to specify the project endpoint. The project endpoint is used to call API operations.

Internal Log Service endpoints

You can also use an internal endpoint to call Log Service API operations from an Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instance. An internal endpoint is accessible over the classic network or a virtual private cloud (VPC). The following table describes the internal Log Service endpoints for each supported region.

Note
  • If you use the following internal endpoints when you call Log Service API operations, only HTTP and HTTPS are supported.
  • Access to Log Service over the following internal endpoints does not generate Internet traffic on ECS instances. The Internet bandwidth resources of the ECS instances are not consumed.

Endpoint for global acceleration

In addition to Alibaba Cloud internal networks and the Internet, you can use the global acceleration feature for Log Service to collect data. Compared with access to Log Service over the Internet, access to Log Service by using the global acceleration feature provides lower latency and higher stability. This feature is more suitable for data collection and consumption scenarios that require reliable and fast data transmission. For more information, see Overview of global acceleration.

The following endpoint for global acceleration is used in all regions:
log-global.aliyuncs.com
Note By default, the global acceleration feature is disabled. You must enable the feature to use it. For more information, see Enable the global acceleration feature.
