Multi-window live streaming

In live streaming scenarios, LinkVisual Player for web allows you to configure multiple windows for live streaming.

Multi-window live streaming has high requirements on the on-site network conditions, the download capabilities of browsers, and CPU resources used to run LinkVisual Player for web. Before you start multi-window live streaming, we recommend that you perform the following operations:

  • Use speed measurement software to check whether the on-site network conditions meet the requirements of the multi-window playback.

To play video streams whose resolution may be 1080p, we recommend that you reserve the bandwidth of at least 4 Mbit/s for downloading each video stream. If the resolution is higher than 1080p, you need to reserve higher bandwidth.

  • If the number of windows is greater than or equal to 4, we recommend that you play minor streams for live streaming.

  • If video streams fail to be played in one of the multiple windows, check whether video streams can be played in a single window.

For more information, see What can I do if video streams fail to be played in a window in multi-window live streaming?

  • If stuttering occurs in one of the multiple windows, check whether video streams can be smoothly played in a single window.

For more information, see What can I do if stuttering occurs in a window in multi-window live streaming?
