To configure an IP address whitelist when you access databases such as ApsaraDB RDS or other types of databases, perform the following steps:
If you are using an internal endpoint, you must enable VPC access for a service in Function Compute. For more information, see Configure network settings. Then, find the database instance and add the CIDR block of the vSwitch that you configured for the service to the whitelist. For more information, see Configure a whitelist.
If you are accessing a public endpoint, you must configure a public IP address. For more information, see Configure static public IP addresses. Then, find the database instance and add the public IP addresses to the whitelist. For more information, see Configure a whitelist.
