Connections over Express Connect circuits

How do I request a quota increase for Express Connect circuits?

By default, you can connect at most two Express Connect circuits to an access point with your Alibaba Cloud account.

You can navigate to the Quota Management page to request a quota increase. For more information, see Manage resource quotas.

Why do I fail to apply for an Express Connect circuit?

The Express Connect circuit is unavailable due to insufficient port inventory or insufficient bandwidth resources. Select another port specification or access point.

Why does the Missing Required Parameters message appears when I apply for an Express Connect circuit?

Make sure that you have selected Yes for the Understand Billing Rules parameter. Otherwise, read the billing rules and select Yes.

Why do I fail to add a shared port for a hosted connection?

You have not set the maximum bandwidth of the virtual border router (VBR) or assigned a VLAN ID to the VBR. Perform the operations and try again.
Note You cannot set the bandwidth of the VBR to unlimited.

How do I request a quota increase for peering connections?

You can request a quota increase on the Quota Management page. For more information, see Manage resource quotas.

Note If your application is denied, you can specify a smaller value, for example, 5. You can also Submit a ticket.

Why do I fail to create a cross-region peering connection?

If the bandwidth resources are insufficient, you may fail to create a cross-region peering connection. For more information, see Submit a ticket.
