    This topic describes the billing method for ID Verification- AML.

    Billing description

    Subscription is a prepaid billing method that allows you to reserve resources in advance at lower prices, offering significant cost savings.

    Billing cycle

    The billing cycle for a subscription is determined by the purchase cycle of the order (UTC+8). It starts when the resource is activated or renewed (to the second) and ends at midnight (00:00:00) on the day following the expiration date.

    Note

    Billing cycles for subscription resources are based on calendar years or months.

    Expiration description

    When your purchased instance expires, the service will automatically cease. The specific rules are as follows:

    • You will receive an email or text message 15 days, 7 days, 3 days, and 1 day before the instance expires, reminding you to renew it promptly. Failure to renew will result in the termination of the protection service upon expiration.

    • After expiration, the instance enters a 15-day grace period during which its configuration is retained. Renewing within this period allows you to continue using the original configuration. Otherwise, the instance will be released, and you will need to purchase and configure a new AML instance.

    Upgrade and renewal policy

    You can upgrade or renew your subscription if the purchased specifications do not meet your business needs or if the instance expires.

    Upgrade

    Supports upgrading from a lower version to a higher version. The products from low to high are: Basic Edition, Standard Edition.

    After upgrading, you need to pay the price difference.

    Log on toID Verification consoleto upgrade.

    Renewal

    Increase the subscription duration for the purchased version. Supports manual renewal.

    You will be charged based on the renewal duration.

    Renew your AML instance on theRenewalpage in the billing management console.

    Note

    Fees for configuration changes during upgrade or renewal are as indicated on the respective pages in the console.

    Refund policy

    Instances are effective immediately upon purchase and are not eligible for refunds.
