Edge Security Acceleration (ESA) optimizes access to network in the Chinese Mainland. It addresses cross-region service challenges by utilizing ESA points of presence (POPs) and the network located in regions such as Hong Kong (China).
Introduction
If your web service is deployed outside the Chinese Mainland and you provide services to users in the Chinese Mainland, they may face a poor access experience due to high latency, packet loss, and jitter. In some regions, users may even encounter access failure.
To enhance the access experience for users in the Chinese Mainland, ESA offers the access optimization by utilizing POPs in regions like Hong Kong (China) and the Global Accelerator network to mitigate cross-region network issues.
This feature is available for websites whose servers are deployed outside the Chinese Mainland.
