After you create a Cloud Assistant command, you can modify, run, clone, or delete it in the Elastic Compute Service (ECS) console without re-creating it from scratch.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure that you have:
At least one Cloud Assistant command created in the target region
Manage commands
In the top navigation bar, select the region and resource group of the resource that you want to manage.
Click the My Commands tab and perform the available operations.
| Operation | Steps |
|---|---|
| Modify the name and description | Hover over the command name and click the edit icon. In the dialog box, enter the new name and description, then click OK. |
| Run a command | Find the command and click Run in the Actions column. Adjust the execution plan, timeout, and other parameters as needed, then select the target ECS instance or managed instance. For parameter details, see Create and run a command. |
| Clone a command | Find the command and click Clone in the Actions column. Cloning creates a new version of a Cloud Assistant command, allowing you to retain or modify — including its name, description, type, content, execution path, and timeout — before running it. Use Clone when you want to run a modified version of an existing command. For parameter details, see Create and run a command. |
| Delete a single command | Find the command and click Delete in the Actions column. |
| Delete multiple commands | Select the commands and click Delete Command at the bottom of the page. |
Each Alibaba Cloud region limits the number of Cloud Assistant commands you can store. Check your Maximum Number of Cloud Assistant Commands quota in Quota Center and delete unused commands regularly to stay within quota.
