If you no longer need to use a RAM user to manage an Elastic High Performance Computing (E-HPC) cluster, you can unbind the RAM user from the cluster. This topic describes how to unbind RAM users from a cluster.
Background information
If several RAM users are bound to a cluster, the cluster can still be accessed and managed by RAM users other than the unbound one. If only one RAM user is bound to a cluster, the cluster can be accessed and managed by all RAM users after you unbind the RAM user from it.
If you unbind a RAM user from a cluster, the RAM user is not deleted.
Procedure
Log on to the E-HPC console.
In the top navigation bar, select a region.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose
.On the User page, select a cluster from the Cluster drop-down list and click the Assign a RAM user tab.
Unbind one or more RAM users from the cluster.
Unbind a RAM user
Find the RAM user and click Delete in the Operation column.
Unbind multiple RAM users
Select the RAM users and click Delete above the RAM user list.
In the Revoke dialog box, click OK.
