Data Transmission Service:View the DU information of a dedicated cluster

Last Updated:Mar 30, 2026

Monitor the Data Transmission Service unit (DU) resource usage of a DTS dedicated cluster to track capacity and resolve task configuration failures.

Use cases

  • Capacity monitoring: View node specifications, total DUs, available DUs, DU usage, overcommit ratio, creation time, and expiration time.

  • Troubleshooting: If a data migration, data synchronization, or change tracking task fails to configure in a DTS dedicated cluster, check the cluster's resource usage to identify the cause and apply the appropriate fix.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that you have:

View DU information

  1. Go to the Dedicated Cluster page.

  2. In the top navigation bar, select the region where your DTS dedicated cluster is located.

  3. On the Cluster Task page, click the name of the cluster you want to check.

  4. Optional: In the left-side navigation pane, click Cluster Management.

  5. In the Basic Information section, check the following DU fields:

    • Number of remaining available DUs in the cluster

    • Total number of DUs in the cluster

    DTS dedicated cluster

Resolve task configuration failures

If a task fails to configure in the DTS dedicated cluster, use the cluster's resource usage or status to select the appropriate solution.

Resource usage or cluster status Solution References
Insufficient number of available DUs 1. Raise the overcommit ratio to increase the total number of DUs in the cluster. This increases the number of available DUs. 2. Add more nodes to increase the total number of DUs in the cluster. This increases the number of available DUs. 3. Create another DTS dedicated cluster so that the total number of DUs of all clusters meets your requirements for configuring DTS tasks. Set an overcommit ratio for a DTS dedicated cluster · Scale out a DTS dedicated cluster · Create a DTS dedicated cluster
High disk usage Increase the disk space of cluster nodes to reduce disk usage. Increase the storage space of nodes in a DTS dedicated cluster
Expired and not released Manually renew the cluster or enable auto-renewal. Manually renew a DTS dedicated cluster
Expiring Manually renew the cluster or enable auto-renewal before it expires. Manually renew a DTS dedicated cluster
Important

Total number of DUs in a DTS dedicated cluster = 15 × Number of nodes in the DTS dedicated cluster.
