After your Internet Content Provider (ICP) filing application is approved, you must place the issued ICP number at the bottom of your website pages and link the ICP number to the ICP filing platform of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). Communications administrations in specific provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities require that website pages have a copyright notice placed at the bottom of the page. If your website provides commercial services, you must also apply for a commercial ICP license after you obtain an ICP filing for the website. After your website is filed at the MIIT, you must submit a Public Security Bureau (PSB) filing application within 30 days after the launch of your website. This is when your website starts to provide external services.
Display your ICP number
Place the issued ICP number at the bottom of your website pages and link it to MIIT website: beian.miit.gov.cn. If you do not place the ICP number as required, you will be fined at least CNY 5,000 and up to CNY 10,000.

- ICP number placement for multiple domain names
When multiple domain names point to the same page, determine which ICP number to display based on the mapping method.
- Direct mapping: When multiple domain names directly point to the same page, place the issued entity ICP number at the bottom.
- Indirect mapping: When Domain A maps to Domain B, which maps to the page, place the website ICP number issued for Domain B at the bottom.
- Mixed mapping: When both direct and indirect mapping are used, place the issued entity ICP number at the bottom.

Apply for a PSB filing
The Measures for Security Protection Administration of the International Networking of Computer Information Networks stipulate that, after you obtain an ICP filing for your website, you must log on to the National Internet Security Management Service Platform in mainland China and submit a PSB filing application within 30 days after the launch of your website.
