Overview
In some cases of emergency, you need to use Private DNS to update the Domain Name System (DNS) records for the domain names of some internal services. If the domain names are configured as cache retention domain names, you can use the cache clearing feature of Private DNS to clear the DNS records of the domain names from the cache servers. These cache servers are deployed in the virtual private clouds (VPCs) within the effective scopes of the caching rules for the domain names. The cache clearing feature is billed based on the times of clearance (pay-as-you-go).
Procedure
Log on to the Alibaba Cloud DNS console.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Private DNS (PrivateZone). In the upper-right corner of the Private DNS (PrivateZone) page, click Configuration Mode and click the Cache Module tab.
On the Cache Module tab, find the desired domain name and click Clear Cache in the Actions column.
In the Clear Cache Confirmation message, click OK.
NoteYou can clear caches up to 2 times per second per account.
