This topic describes the data sources that are supported by Database Backup (DBS). You can add files and databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and Redis as the data sources. Supported databases include ApsaraDB databases, self-managed databases, and databases of third-party cloud service providers.
Data sources are databases or file paths to be backed up. The data source information includes data source names, regions where data sources reside, database types, and database accounts and passwords.
