Data Transmission Service (DTS) dedicated clusters provide the monitoring feature to monitor the status of each node in a dedicated cluster. If you receive alerts about your DTS dedicated clusters from Alibaba Cloud, such as alerts indicating that the CPU utilization is higher than 80%, you can use the monitoring feature to view the status of resources, such as the CPU and memory.

Usage notes

Monitoring data is retained for up to 30 days. You cannot view the monitoring data that was generated more than 30 days ago.

Procedure

  1. Go to the Dedicated Cluster page.
  2. In the top navigation bar, select the region in which you want to create a DTS dedicated cluster.
  3. Find the DTS dedicated cluster whose monitoring information you want to view. Click its ID or click Details in the Actions column.
  4. In the left-side navigation pane, click Cluster Monitoring.
  5. Select Entire Cluster from the drop-down list in the upper-left corner.
  6. On the Cluster Monitoring page, view the monitoring information of the DTS dedicated cluster.
    • Overview of the monitoring information
In the Main Information section, you can view the following information:
      • Number of used DTS units (DUs) and total number of DUs
      • Used disk space and total disk space
      • CPU utilization
      • Memory usage
      • Number of tasks that are running in the cluster
    • Detailed monitoring information
In the Resource Monitoring section, select a time range for viewing resource monitoring data. Then, move the pointer over a point in time of a metric to view the usage information. The following metrics are provided:
      • CPU utilization
      • Memory usage
      • Disk usage
      • Internet traffic, including inbound and outbound traffic over the Internet
      • Internal network traffic, including inbound and outbound traffic over the internal network
      Note
      • By default, the system displays the monitoring information in the past 10 minutes. You can select a time range within the last 30 days to view the monitoring information of the DTS dedicated cluster.
      • Internet traffic includes inbound and outbound traffic over the Internet. Internal network traffic includes inbound and outbound traffic over the internal network.
