Service discontinuation history

• The web service of DMS Personal Edition was discontinued on March 31, 2022.

• The old version of DMS Personal Edition will be discontinued on July 31, 2023.

  Note

  We recommend that you switch to the new version of DMS at the earliest opportunity before services of the old version of DMS Personal Edition service stop. To switch to the new version of DMS, click the version change button in the upper-right corner of the DMS console of the old version. You can still use the features of DMS after switching to the new version.

Notes

After you switch to the new version of DMS, the situations that may occur include but are not limited to the following ones:

• Failed to find instances

  This is because data is not interconnected between the old version of DMS Personal Edition and the new version of DMS. You need to register your instances on the Instances page in the DMS console of the new version. For more information, see Register an ApsaraDB instance.

• Failed to find the database logon page

  For more information about how to log on to a database in the new version of DMS, see Log on to a database instance.

• Failed to find specific DMS feature

  You can search for the required feature from the shortcut menu in the upper-left corner of the DMS console homepage of the new version.
