This topic describes how to use the templates provided by Cloud Migration Hub (CMH) to import resource information step by step.
Download templates
CMH provides a variety of templates to help you manually survey your on-premises resources. You can perform the following steps to obtain these templates:
Log on to the CMH console. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Assessment > Resource Collection. On the page that appears, click the Offline Collection tab. On the Offline Collection tab, click Import in the Manual Import section. In the Manual Import dialog box, download the templates.
Import resource information
Upload templates
After you fill in the templates that you download, you can upload the templates in the Manual Import dialog box from which you download the templates. After you upload the templates, CMH starts a background task to identify your resources.
View resource information
After the background task is complete, click the Offline Collection tab or the Online Collection tab. You can click the ID of the task in the Collection Tasks section to view the resource information. The resources will be imported to CMH automatically and will be displayed on the Resource List page.
