You can change the contact group, or manage the cloud services and resources for an application group.

Change the contact group

If the alert contacts of the application group are changed, you can change the contact group.

  1. Log on to the CloudMonitor console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Application Groups.
  3. On the Application Group tab, click the name of the application group.
  4. In the Basic Information section of the Group Overview page, click the Edit icon next to Alert Contact Group.
  5. Select contact groups based on your needs.
  6. Click OK.

Add resources to the application group

You can add cloud services and resources to an application group. This allows you to manage alert rules and view monitoring data in the application group.

  1. Log on to the CloudMonitor console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Application Groups.
  3. On the Application Group tab, click the name of the application group.
  4. In the left-side navigation pane, click Group Resource.
  5. Click Manage Services and Resources.
    Note If no resources are available in the application group, click Add Product.
  6. In the Add /Modify Group Resources panel, select cloud services and resources.
  7. Click OK.

Delete resources from the application group

If you delete a resource from an application group, you cannot view the monitoring data or receive alert notifications.

  1. Log on to the CloudMonitor console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Application Groups.
  3. On the Application Group tab, click the name of the application group.
  4. In the left-side navigation pane, click Group Resource.
  5. On the tab of the cloud service, delete the resource.
    • Delete a resource
      1. Find the instance that you want to delete, and click Delete in the Actions column.
      2. Click OK.
    • Delete multiple resources
      1. Select the instances that you want to delete, and then click Delete in the lower-left corner.
      2. Click OK.
