You can delete alert contacts or alert contact groups that are no longer needed.

Delete one or more alert contacts

If you delete an alert contact, the alert contact is automatically removed from the alert contact groups to which the alert contact has been added.

  1. Log on to the CloudMonitor console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Alerts > Alert Contacts.
  3. Delete one or more alert contacts.
    • Delete a single alert contact
      1. On the Alert Contacts tab, find the alert contact that you want to delete and click Delete in the Actions column.
      2. In the Confirm message, click OK.
    • Delete multiple alert contacts at a time
      1. Click the check boxes in front of the alert contacts that you want to delete, and then click Delete Contacts in the lower-left corner.
      2. In the Confirm message, click OK.

Delete an alert contact group

If you delete an alert contact group, the alert contacts in the alert contact group are not deleted.

  1. Log on to the CloudMonitor console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Alerts > Alert Contacts.
  3. Click the Alert Contact Group tab.
  4. On the Alert Contact Group tab, find the alert contact group that you want to delete and click the Delete icon.
  5. In the Confirm message, click OK.

Remove an alert contact from an alert contact group

If an alert contact group contains only one alert contact, you cannot remove the alert contact from the alert contact group.

  1. Log on to the CloudMonitor console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Alerts > Alert Contacts.
  3. Click the Alert Contact Group tab.
  4. On the Alert Contact Group tab, find the alert contact group that you want to modify and click the Edit icon.
  5. In the alert contact list of the alert contact group, find the alert contact that you want to remove and click Delete in the Actions column.
  6. In the Confirm message, click OK.
