This topic describes the billing of the second latency-scale monitoring feature and provides a billing example.

Billing method

Bills for the second latency-scale monitoring feature are generated on a daily basis. The fees for the second latency-scale monitoring feature are calculated by using the following formula:

Fees for the second latency-scale monitoring feature = Total number of data points that are generated per day × Unit price of a data point The unit price of a data point is USD 0.00035 per 10,000 data points.

Billing example

The second latency-scale monitoring feature is enabled for five metrics of a cloud service. A data point is generated based on each metric of an instance every 5 seconds. In this case, the fees are calculated by using the following formulas:

Total number of data points = 60/5 × 60 × 24 × 5 × 100 = 8,640,000

Fee = 864 × USD 0.00035 = USD 0.3024
