Migration Hub:Create a migration plan

Last Updated:Jun 02, 2026

Create a migration plan in Cloud Migration Hub to organize resources into migration groups, track progress, and coordinate migration tools.

Overview

Cloud Migration Hub supports five types of migration plans: Alibaba Cloud cross-zone, cross-region, and cross-account migration, Amazon Web Services (AWS) migration, and data center migration. A migration plan lets you group resources, track migration progress, assign tools, and create destination resources.

Note

AWS migration plans support Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) and Relational Database Service (RDS) instance migration.

Cross-zone migration plans support Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instances, ApsaraDB RDS instances, Tair (Redis OSS-compatible) instances, Server Load Balancer (SLB) instances, and vSwitches.
