You can apply the account baseline to an existing account. When you apply the account baseline to an existing account, the existing parameters are not modified for the account, and only parameters of new baseline items are added.

Configuration methods

You can apply the account baseline to an existing account by using one of the following methods:

  • In the Get Started with Account Factory section of the Account Factory page, click Apply to all existing accounts. to apply the account baseline to one or more existing accounts. You can specify multiple accounts at a time by using this method. This method is used in the example of this topic.
  • On the Accounts tab of the Account Factory page, find the account to which you want to apply the account baseline and click Apply Account Baseline in the Actions column. You can select only a single account by using this method.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Cloud Governance Center console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Account Factory.
  3. On the Account Factory page, click Apply to all existing accounts. in the Get Started with Account Factory section.
  4. On the Apply to all existing accounts. page, select one or more members to which you want to apply the account baseline.
  5. Set the parameters of the baseline items based on the account baseline.
  6. Click Create.
    On the Accounts tab, if the value in the Status column of a selected account changes from Not Applied to Successful, the account baseline is applied to the account.
