Before your subscription to Cloud Firewall expires, renew it to ensure that the security protection services continue to run properly. Cloud Firewall provides the auto-renewal feature. You do not need to manually renew your subscription.
Expiration
Seven days before your subscription expires, Alibaba Cloud sends you text messages, emails, or internal messages to notify you of the renewal. If you do not renew your subscription before it expires, your assets are no longer protected by Cloud Firewall after the expiration date.
Alibaba Cloud retains your configurations and data on Cloud Firewall, such as access control policies and intrusion prevention settings for seven days after your subscription expires. If you renew your subscription within the seven days, you can continue to use your configurations and data.
If you do not renew your subscription within the seven days, Alibaba Cloud releases all your Cloud Firewall configurations and data. If this happens and you want to continue using Cloud Firewall, you must subscribe to it again. For more information, see Purchase Cloud Firewall. After you subscribe to Cloud Firewall, you must configure the access control policies and other features based on your business requirements.
Renew subscription
Enable the auto-renewal feature
After you enable the auto-renewal feature, the system automatically deducts fees from your account and renews your subscription nine days before Cloud Firewall expires. This feature prevents service suspension in cases where you forgot to renew Cloud Firewall in time.
