This topic describes the documentation updates for new features and feature updates of ChatApp Message Service.

Updates in November 2023

You can click the authorization button on the Catalog list page in the ChatApp Message Service console to obtain permissions on catalogs from Meta Business Manager.

The type parameter is required when you add a fallback rule on the Fallback rules page in the ChatApp Message Service console.

The API operations related to quick-response (QR) codes for phone numbers are added.

The ConfigId parameter is added to the IsvGetAppId operation that is used to implement embedded signup for independent software vendors (ISVs).

The Keyword trigger switch is added to More Settings on the Message channel tab of the Channels page. You can turn on Keyword trigger to trigger the message workbench by using keywords. This way, you can receive the mobile originated messages from users.

The Template quality column is added to the template list on the Whatsapp template design page.

An API operation is added to query the reasons for review rejection.

You can set a validity period for a WhatsApp authentication template. After the validity period ends, messages based on the template are not sent.

You can modify approved WhatsApp message templates.

Important

After you modify an approved template, you need to submit it for review again. After the modified template passes the review, the original template is unavailable and the messages based on the original template fail to be sent.

You can create a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) by using a precheck phone number on the WABA onboarding page.
