As notified by WhatsApp, starting from April 1, 2025, WhatsApp will temporarily stop sending any marketing messages to WhatsApp users with US phone numbers (numbers comprising the +1 dialing code and a US area code). If an enterprise attempts to send marketing messages to WhatsApp users with US mobile numbers, an error code 131049 will be returned.
