This topic describes how to activate an independent software vendor (ISV) account and add users to this account.
Procedure for activating an ISV account
Preparations
Before you activate an ISV account, you must complete the following preparations:
An Alibaba Cloud account is created, and enterprise real-name verification is complete. For more information, see Sign up with Alibaba Cloud and Real-name verification for enterprises.
Chat App Message Service is activated.
A WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) is created and activated. For more information, see WABA onboarding.
The information about your enterprise in the following table is prepared.
Item
Description
Full name
The full name of the enterprise, which is the same as that in the business license.
Address
The address of the enterprise, which is the same as that in the business license.
Website
The website on which the service is provided.
Email address
The business email address of the enterprise.
Legal person
The legal person of the enterprise, which is the same as that in the business license.
Facebook BM ID
The Facebook Business Manager ID.
WhatsApp Business Account ID
The WABA ID.
Service nature
The nature of the service provided by the enterprise.
Signed ISV agreement
The signed ISV agreement. Upload the ISV or Client agreement after the agreement is signed or stamped. The file can be up to 2 MB in size. The file name cannot contain special characters.

The signatory needs to fill in the information described in the following section.
Company: the name of the company.
Signature: the signature of the signatory.
Print Name: the signature of the signatory in block letters.
Title: the job title of the signatory.
Date: the signing date.

The following section describes the signatory and the signing position.
Alibaba Cloud signs the agreement on Page 3.
ISVs sign the agreement on Page 6 and Page 12.
ISV customers sign the agreement on Page 9.
Submit the ISV information
After the preparations are complete, contact your account manager or operations personnel of Alibaba Cloud and submit the ISV information.
Add additional information about the ISV account
Operations personnel of Alibaba Cloud add information about the ISV account based on the ISV information you submit.
Procedure for adding a user to an ISV account
Information required for the user of an ISV account
Before you add a user to the ISV account, the following information about the user is required:

Full name of the user | The full name of the user to be added to the ISV account. |
Address of the user | The address of the user to be added to the ISV account. |
Email address | The business email address of the user to be added to the ISV account. |
Country or region | The country or region where the user resides. |
Client Facebook BM ID | The Facebook Business Manager ID. |
Scenarios | The scenario where the user to be added to the ISV account uses WhatsApp to send messages. |

Procedure
To add a user to an ISV account and allow the user to use the console, perform the steps described in the Method 1: A user uses the console section of this topic.
To add a user to an ISV account and allow the ISV account to use the console in place of the user or add a user who does not need to use the console to an ISV account, perform the steps described in the Method 2: An ISV account uses the console in place of a user or a user does not use the console section of this topic.
To add a user to an ISV account and allow the ISV account to use the console in place of the user and assign a RAM user to the user, perform the steps described in the Method 3: An ISV account uses the console in place of a user and assigns a RAM user to the user section of this topic.
Method 1: A user uses the console
After you create an ISV account, create a RAM user for the user within the ISV account.
Log on to the RAM console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
Click Create User and specify related parameters as prompted.
Click OK. The RAM user is created.

Grant permissions to the RAM user.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
Select the RAM user to which you want to grant permissions.
Click Add Permissions in the Actions column, search for cams, and then attach the AliyunCamsFullAccess policy to the RAM user.
After the RAM user is added to the ISV account, the ISV customer needs to log on to the console by using the RAM user and activate Chat App Message Service.
When you log on as a RAM user, click Sign In as RAM User on the logon page.
You can view the user information on the Customer management page in the Chat App Message Service console.
Find the user whose information you want to add and click Edit in the Operate column. Then, specify related parameters as prompted.
Click Submit audit.
Wait for the review. After the information passes the review, the user is added to the ISV account. If the information fails to pass the review, resubmit the user information.

Method 2: An ISV account uses the console in place of a user or a user does not use the console
Log on to the Chat App Message Service console. In the left-side navigation pane, click Customer management.
Click Add and specify the required parameters as prompted.
Click Submit audit.
Wait for the review. After the information passes the review, the user is added to the ISV account. If the information fails to pass the review, resubmit the user information.

Method 3: An ISV account uses the console in place of a user and assigns a RAM user to the user
Log on to the Chat App Message Service console and click Customer management in the left-side navigation pane.
Click Add and specify the required parameters as prompted.
Click Submit audit for review.
After the information passes the review, find the desired user on the Customer management and click RAM account management in the Operate column.
In the RAM account management dialog box, specify the Login name and UID parameters.
You can obtain the logon name and UID of the RAM user in the RAM console. For more information about how to create a RAM user and grant permissions to the RAM user, see the Method 1: A user uses the console section of this topic.
Click OK. Then, you can use the RAM user to log on to the Chat App Message Service console.
To unbind a RAM account from a user, click RAM account management in the Operate column. In the dialog box that appears, click Unbind RAM account and click OK.
