Disassociates a vSwitch from a multicast domain.
Operation description
-
Before dissociating a vSwitch from a multicast domain, make sure that no multicast sources or multicast members exist under the vSwitch. To delete multicast sources and multicast members, see DeregisterTransitRouterMulticastGroupSources and DeregisterTransitRouterMulticastGroupMembers.
-
If you specify invalid parameters, the system still returns a RequestId but does not dissociate the vSwitch from the multicast domain.
-
DisassociateTransitRouterMulticastDomain is an asynchronous operation. After you invoke this operation, the system returns a RequestId but the dissociation has not yet completed. The dissociation node continues to run in the background. You can invoke ListTransitRouterMulticastDomainAssociations to query the associate status between the vSwitch and the multicast domain.
If the associate status is Dissociating, the vSwitch is being dissociated from the multicast domain. In this state, you can only execute query operations on the vSwitch but cannot execute other operations.
If the vSwitch information cannot be found under the multicast domain, the vSwitch has been successfully dissociated from the multicast domain.
