Issue

Use the Alibaba Cloud Content Delivery Network wildcard domain certificate to match the target website address. The browser prompts the following error when you access a domain name of level 3 or above.

Cause

If the website address that matches the Alibaba Cloud Content Delivery Network certificate you are applying for belongs to a wildcard domain name, such as a *.aliyundoc.com format certificate, you can only support wildcard domain names of the current level, such as example.aliyundoc.com, developer.aliyundoc.com, or aliyundoc.com domain names. Currently, third-level domain names such as image.developer.aliyundoc.com cannot be supported, which is a restriction between the certificate authority and the browser.

Solution

If you need to use a third-level domain name, you need to use the wildcard domain certificate of the corresponding third-level domain name. If *.developer.aliyundoc.com, you can support third-level domain names in the form of image.developer.aliyundoc.com and demo.developer.aliyundoc.com.
