Cancel or delete a vertical scaling task

Cancel a vertical scaling task that is still waiting to run, or delete one that has already been canceled or executed.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that you have:

  • An Alibaba Cloud account with access to the Auto Scaling console

  • At least one vertical scaling task in the Waiting, Cancel, or Executed state

Cancel a vertical scaling task

You can only cancel a task while it is in the Waiting state.

  1. Log on to the Auto Scaling console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Vertical Scaling.

  3. Log on to the Auto Scaling console.

  4. In the top navigation bar, select the region where Auto Scaling is activated.

  5. Find the task in the Waiting state, then click Cancel in the Actions column.

  6. In the confirmation dialog, click OK.

Delete a vertical scaling task

You can only delete a task after it reaches the Cancel or Executed state.

  1. Log on to the Auto Scaling console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Vertical Scaling.

  3. In the top navigation bar, select the region where Auto Scaling is activated.

  4. Find the task in the Cancel or Executed state, then click Delete in the Actions column.

  5. In the confirmation dialog, click OK.
