    Alibaba Cloud Managed Service for Prometheus allows you to install and configure the Workload Performance Monitoring exporter. This way, you can collect workload performance metrics, system performance metrics, network performance metrics, and event details. Managed Service for Prometheus also provides out-of-the-box dashboards that you can use to monitor your workloads.

    Limits

    You can install the component only for Prometheus instances for Container Service.

    Procedure

    1. Log on to the ARMS console.

    2. In the left navigation pane, choose Managed Service for Prometheus > Instances.

    3. Click the name of the Managed Service for Prometheus instance instance that you want to manage to go to the Integration Center page.

    Install and configure the Workload Performance Monitoring exporter

    In the Not Installed section of the Integration Center page, find the Workload Performance Monitoring exporter and click Install. In the message that appears, click OK.

    The installed component is displayed on the Integration Management page in the ARMS console. The Integration Management page consists of the Integrated Environments, Integrated Addons, and Query Dashboards tabs, where you can view information such as targets, metrics, dashboards, and alerts.

    View monitoring data

    In the left-side navigation pane, click Dashboards. On the Dashboards page, click the Workload dashboard to view the performance data of workloads.
