This topic describes how to associate HBase data sources with a Lindorm Tunnel Service (LTS) instance in the ApsaraDB for HBase console.

Prerequisites

  • An LTS instance is created. For more information, see Activate LTS.
  • An HBase instance is created. For more information, see Purchase a cluster.
  • The network between the LTS instance and the HBase instance is connected. For more information, see Network connection.

Scenarios

  • You can add a self-managed HBase cluster.
  • You can add an ApsaraDB for HBase cluster of Standard Edition.
  • You can add an ApsaraDB for HBase cluster of Performance-enhanced Edition or a Lindorm instance.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for HBase console.
  2. On the Clusters page, click the ID of the LTS instance to which you want to add an HBase data source.
  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Data source management. On the page that appears, click Add data source.
  4. In the Add data source dialog box, configure the following parameters.

    Instance TypeSelect the type of the ApsaraDB for HBase cluster that you want to add.
    Instance regionSelect the region where the ApsaraDB for HBase cluster resides.
    The ID of the selected Alibaba cloud account.If you select Associate an ApsaraDB for HBase instance of another account, you must specify the ID of another Alibaba Cloud account. For more information, see View the basic information about a RAM user.
    AK IDIf you select Associate an ApsaraDB for HBase instance of another account, you must specify the AccessKey ID of another Alibaba Cloud account. For more information, see Obtain an AccessKey pair.
    AK SecretIf you select Associate an ApsaraDB for HBase instance of another account, you must specify the AccessKey secret of another Alibaba Cloud account. For more information, see Obtain an AccessKey pair.
    Instance IDSelect the ID of the ApsaraDB for HBase cluster that you want to add.
    Note
    • If you select VPC under the current logon account, you must select the IDs of ApsaraDB for HBase clusters that belong to the current account.
    • If you select Associate an ApsaraDB for HBase instance for another account, specify the ID of the ApsaraDB for HBase cluster that belongs to another account.
  5. Click OK.
