Managed Service for Grafana lets you create a workspace and integrate different versions of Grafana to monitor and visualize cloud resource metrics in real time. This helps you identify and troubleshoot issues at the earliest opportunity.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure that you have:
An Alibaba Cloud account with permissions to create Managed Service for Grafana resources
(Optional) A resource group for organizing your workspace
Create a workspace
Log on to the ARMS console. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Managed Service for Grafana > Workspace Management.
On the Overview page, click Create Workspace.
On the buy page, configure the following parameters, and then click Create Now.
Parameter Description Workspace Name A name for the Grafana workspace. Admin Password The password for the Grafana admin account. Store this password securely -- you need it to log on to the Grafana console. Region The region where the workspace runs. Version The edition of Managed Service for Grafana. For details about billing for each edition, see Billing rules. Grafana Version The Grafana version to deploy in the workspace. Number of Accounts The number of user accounts for the workspace. For pricing details, see Billing rules. Duration The subscription duration. Auto-renewal Automatically renews the subscription when it expires. When enabled, billing starts after the trial period ends. For pricing details, see Billing rules. Resource Group The resource group for the workspace. Use resource groups to manage permissions, deployments, and monitoring across your Alibaba Cloud resources. Tag Key-value pairs (Tag Key and Tag Value) for categorizing and filtering workspaces. Complete the payment.
After payment, return to the Workspace Management page to verify that the workspace is created. The page displays the workspace expiration date.
Access the Grafana console
After you create a workspace, you can access its Grafana console immediately:
On the Workspace Management page, click the URL of the workspace.
On the Grafana logon page, use one of the following methods to log on:
Enter the admin account and the password that you set during workspace creation.
Click Sign in with Alibaba Cloud to log on with your current Alibaba Cloud account.
Manage a workspace
On the Workspace Management page, you can perform the following operations:

| View or edit workspace settings | Click the workspace ID, or click Manage in the Actions column. On the workspace details page, view or modify basic information, parameters, and data sources. |
| Renew a subscription | Click Renew in the Actions column to extend the subscription. |
| Change the edition | Click Upgrade or Downgrade in the Actions column to switch to a different edition of Managed Service for Grafana. |
