Application Real-Time Monitoring Service:Integrate cloud services

Last Updated:Mar 11, 2026

Managed Service for Grafana lets you connect Alibaba Cloud services to your Grafana workspace, giving you a unified view of resource usage and system performance through pre-built dashboards. Each integration adds a data source and, for most services, a dashboard folder to your workspace.

Supported cloud services

The following cloud services support one-click integration in the Cloud Service Integration section of the console. To integrate data sources from other cloud services, manually add data sources. For more information, see Add data sources.

For Simple Log Service, if the AliyunServiceRoleForARMS service-linked role does not exist in your account, complete the authorization when prompted. To create this role for a Resource Access Management (RAM) user, see the "FAQ" section of Service-linked role for ARMS.

Prerequisites

  • An active Managed Service for Grafana workspace

View integrated cloud services

  1. Log on to the ARMS console. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Managed Service for Grafana > Workspace Management.

  2. On the Workspace Management page, click the ID of the workspace that you want to manage.

  3. In the Cloud Service Integration section of the Workspace Information page, view the available cloud services.

Integrate a cloud service with one-click

The following services use the same one-click integration workflow: ARMS Application Monitoring, Managed Service for Prometheus, Prometheus Service (Old), and ARMS Alert Management.

  1. In the left-side pane of the Cloud Service Integration section, click the target cloud service name.

    Note

If ARMS Application Monitoring is not displayed, join the DingTalk group (group ID: 34785590) for Managed Service for Grafana to upgrade the edition.

  2. In the data source list on the right side, find the target data source and click Integrations in the Actions column. In the confirmation message, click OK.

  3. Find the integrated data source and click Folder in the Actions column to open the dashboard folder in Grafana.

    Note

For Managed Service for Prometheus, preset dashboards vary based on the Prometheus instance type.

  4. Optional. To view all integrated data sources, open the Grafana navigation pane and choose Settings icon > Data sources.

Connect more cloud services to Prometheus

To connect additional cloud services to Managed Service for Prometheus, click Configure Cloud Service Monitoring in the upper-right corner of the Prometheus Service (Old) section. For more information, see Monitor an Alibaba Cloud service.

Integrate Hybrid Cloud Monitoring

  1. In the left-side pane of the Cloud Service Integration section, click Hybrid Cloud Monitoring.

  2. In the data source list on the right side, find the target data source and click Integrations in the Actions column. In the Integrate Data Source dialog box, enter your AccessKey ID and AccessKey Secret, then click OK. To add more cloud services to CloudMonitor, click Configure Hybrid Cloud Monitoring in the upper-right corner of the Hybrid Cloud Monitoring section.

  3. Find the integrated data source and click Folder in the Actions column to open the dashboard folder in Grafana.

    Note

Managed Service for Grafana generates default dashboards based on data accessed in the corresponding namespace. Metrics are not automatically added. If the metrics you need are missing, click Configure Hybrid Cloud Monitoring in the Hybrid Cloud Monitoring section to add them.

  4. Optional. To view all integrated data sources, open the Grafana navigation pane and choose Settings icon > Data sources.

Integrate Simple Log Service

Managed Service for Grafana assumes the AliyunServiceRoleForARMS service-linked role to access Simple Log Service. If this role does not exist in your account, complete the authorization when prompted. To create this role for a RAM user, see the "FAQ" section of Service-linked role for ARMS.

  1. In the left-side pane of the Cloud Service Integration section, click Simple Log Service.

  2. In the data source list on the right side, click Create Log Service Data Source. In the Create Log Service Data Source panel, configure the Region, Project, and logstore parameters, then click OK.

    Note

If the AliyunARMSFullAccess system policy is not attached to your account, attach it when prompted.

  3. Optional. Find the integrated data source and click Folder in the Actions column to open the dashboard folder in Grafana.

    Important

The folder and dashboards are generated only for Logstores of Kubernetes events. If no folder appears on the Dashboards page, the specified Logstore does not have preset dashboards.

  4. Find the integrated data source and click Explorer in the Actions column to query Simple Log Service data in the Grafana console.
