    Problem description

    In the Alibaba Cloud Content Delivery Network console, the domain name failed to be added, indicating that the root domain name of the failed domain name is occupied by other accounts.

     

    Causes

    Other accounts have added the root domain name of the domain name to the Alibaba Cloud CDN or Dynamic Route for CDN console.

     

    Solutions

    follow these steps to migrate the domain name.

    1. Submit a ticket to apply for domain name migration.
    2. Alibaba Cloud after-sales engineers will contact you and provide TXT parsing rules.
    3. Use the TXT resolution rule to verify the ownership of the domain name.
      1. Log on to the domain name provider website.
      2. Add a TXT resolution rule to verify the domain name ownership.
        Note: TXT record value is Alibaba Cloud Content Delivery Network randomly generated Token, which is used to verify domain name ownership.
    4. Alibaba Cloud after-sales engineers migrate domain names.
    5. After the migration is completed, log on to the Alibaba Cloud CDN platform to view the domain name and confirm that the domain name migration is successful.
